Mechanical Engineering Courses

Design: Engineering mechanics, materials, machine design, FEA, CAD, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, communication.

Automation: Programming, electrical & electronics, sensors, pneumatics and hydraulics, communication.

Students without a relevant trade background must also complete workshop projects covering basic design, welding, machining and safety.

PARKING PERMITS
All cars must have a parking permit placed on their windscreen. This is for all students day and night. Parking permits can be obtained from the front office free of charge.

This is to stop people leaving their car at TAFE to catch the train.

Timetable: College closes at 9:30 so classes must finish by 9:25pm SHARP. (4:25pm-9:25pm) Tests must finish by that time, lights off and out the door.

NOTE: Safety glasses and steel capped safety boots are required for all students entering workshop (ground level).
